Private battles is a unique way of playing CommBattle with your close friends. You can play either on the same field or from different locaitons, but you may be stay assured that only the players you invite will be able to join your private battle.
When you select Start/Join Private Battle item from the Main Menu, you will be offered with opportunity either to start a new private battle or to join the existing one (already created by someone else). In order to make sure that only invited players will join your battle, you should enter the private battle code in order to join the existing private battle. This code might be sent to you via text message or by e-mail, or distributed in some other way - it's private battle organizer responsibility to generate and distribute private battle code between his/her friends. CommBattle generates new private battle code when you hit the Generate Code button, and then you can text the code to a number of your friends by clicking Send button.
In case if you're playing on the same field, we recommend you to calibrate yourself at the same point and then, when the battle starts, spend some time scattering yourself around the battle area and only after that start the battle.
Also, we understand that when playing with your close friends, the possibility of cheating becomes sort of a problem, and, hence, in CommBattle Deathmatch Release, we intend to introduce a different Frag scoring system for private battles.
Once you start the private battle, you will fight against a number of bots until your friends start to join (and bots will be kicked from the game once more than 5 friend players decide to join). Currently, the maximum number of 10 players can play in a single private battle.
