Frag Point Calculations

Frag points in CommBattle are calculated in a different manner than in other Deathmatch games (where one "kill" generally receives one Frag). Generally, Frag Points in CommBattle correspond to the game's balance, where in one battle there may be players of different levels playing together in different modes (some may be playing in Manual Mode from their homes, while others are running outdoors).

The main idea behind Frag Points is that you earn points not for the actual "kill," but for the damage you bring to other players. So if you do 90% of the damage to a player's health, and someone else "kills" the "wounded" player, you get 90% of the points generally required for a full (100%) "killing" of a player. In general, you get 1 Frag Point for "killing" a player of the same level as yours. When you cause 90% of the damage to a player, you would earn 0.9 Frag Points.

Also, please remember that you will only get 50% of scores when dealing with CommBattle bots and only 20% of scores when playing in Manual Mode.

Also, whenever you get upgraded to the upper levels and face lower level players in battle, you'll receive only a portion of the necessary Frag score (the proportion defined by the "coolness" level indicator), while the lower level players will receive more than the usual amount of Frag Points for bringing damage to you as an upper level player (determined in proportion to the "coolness" level indicator). For example, if you're a Level 3 player bringing 100% damage to a Level 1 player, you will get only 0.33 Frag Points (Level 1 "coolness" divided by Level 3 "coolness" which is 1.0/3.0=0.33), while a Level 1 player bringing 100% damage to you will earn 3 Frag points (Level 3 "coolness" divided by Level 1 "coolness" = 3.0/1.0=3.0).

This Frag scoring system is subject to change for game balancing purposes.
